Shipping & Delivery

At Maia our aim is to dispatch your order within 24 hours of your order being placed. Please note, however, that any time or date stated for delivery is an estimate only. Maia makes every effort to dispatch goods on time, but does not accept liability for failure to deliver within the stated times.


We offer several delivery options to suit your needs:


Option 1: Standard Delivery at a flat rate of £3.65 to any address located in the UK.
Normally delivered within 3-5 working days.

Option 2: Express Delivery at a flat rate of £5.95 anywhere in the UK. Orders placed before
4.00pm will normally be delivered within 1-2 working days. Please note this service
may take a little longer for more remote UK addresses.

Option 3: Next Day Guaranteed Delivery at a flat rate of £7.95 anywhere in the UK. Orders placed before
3.00pm will be delivered the Next Working Day. Please note this service
may take 2 working days for certain UK addresses. Saturday orders must be
place before 11.00am for Monday delivery.

Option 4: Pick Up In-Store - the goods can be ordered and paid for online and collected
at our Glasgow store at no additional cost.

Option 5: Free Shipping - orders subtotalling £45 or more will be delivered to you free of charge to any address located in the UK, and normally within 3-5 working days. If you wish to receive your order sooner then please select either Next Day or Express Delivery options.

Shipping costs indicated above are for all UK deliveries. Shipping times may vary depending on shipping destination. If the goods purchased are not able to be dispatched within the timescale indicated then we will notify you. Delivery times quoted are estimates based on availability and normal delivery time in working days.


Please Note: As some of our Artwork is custom made for you therefore please allow up to two weeks for delivery (some items are in stock and these will be dispatched under normal delivery times, we will notify you by email or telephone of expected delivery times).


If Maia is unable to deliver the goods within 30 days of the date of order, the Customer will be entitled to cancel the order and require any monies paid to Maia in respect of that order to be refunded. In order to cancel, the Customer must send written notice of cancellation to Maia after the above date, but before delivery of the goods or notification from Maia that the goods are ready for delivery. Maia does not accept liability for shortages or damage to deliveries unless the Customer notifies Maia of the shortage or damage in writing within 7 days of receipt of the delivery.


The customer has to accept the goods when they are ready for delivery.


Delivery is deemed to take place when the goods are delivered to the Customer’s nominated address, whereupon the risk of loss, breakage and all damage and all other risks shall pass to the Customer.


Title of the goods does not pass to the Customer until payment is received in full by Maia.


If the customer cannot accept delivery, Maia may at its option: (1) store and insure the goods at the Customer’s expense and risk or (2) sell the goods at the best price reasonably obtainable and (after deducting reasonable storage insurance and selling costs) pay to the Customer any excess over the sale price or charge the Customer for any shortfall or (3) re-arrange delivery provided that Maia may charge the Customer for the additional delivery costs incurred.

International Delivery


We will happily ship your goods to most destinations world wide. The flat rates listed below are considered sufficient to cover the cost of most international deliveries (up to 2kg) however we reserve the right to charge an additonal delivery charge for heavier items or where the shipping address is considered to be remote by the nominated courier service.


For EU and International orders - delivery time in usually between 5-15 working days but is dependent on the nominated courier's normal delivery service times from the UK to the given Shipping Address.


International Shipping Rates

EU Flat Rate (Up to 2kg): For addresses within the European Union the normal charge for delivery is £9.95.

Worldwide Flat Rate (Up to 2kg): normal charge for delivery is £17.95 (outside the EU)


Note: Please note that in some cases you may be liable for taxes when the goods arrive at customs within your country, please contact your customs department for more information.

Returns & Replacements


Here at Maia we want you to be happy with your goods purchased online from us However, if you are unsatisfied with the goods purchased you may cancel your order and return the goods to us within 14 working days from the receipt of the goods. You will receive a refund within 30 days of the cancellation.


Goods must be returned in their original packaging and in a re-saleable state to the following address:

If returned items were purchased with the free delivery option then a standard shipping charge will be applied to the order prior to refund being processed.

If the goods are damaged or defective then you must report this to us within 72 hours of receipt of the order. You can do this in writing via email to: [email protected]


Unless the goods are damaged we are unable to provide a refund or exchange on: Personalised Gifts; Unsealed Toiletry Products or some items of Jewellery (such as earrings) due to hygiene reasons.


In the unlikely event that goods are damaged in transit we will require the goods to be returned to us. We may, in certain circumstances, accept photographic evidence as proof of the damages. We reserve the right to ask for the goods to be returned even if photo evidence is submitted.

We will refund the cost of return postage in the case of damaged/defective items (you must provide proof of receipt for delivery charges). Otherwise you will be responsible for the cost the delivery of returned goods. 



a) All contracts of sale made by Maia shall be deemed to incorporate these terms and conditions, which shall prevail over any other terms from the party ("the Customer") with whom Maia is dealing.


b) Cancellation of orders by consumers can only be accepted in accordance with the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000.


d) All orders are subject to acceptance and to availability of the goods ordered. Maia is entitled to refuse any order placed by you.


e) You undertake that:

    1. all details you provide to us for the purpose of purchasing goods or services offered on our web site are correct and
    2. the credit or debit card you use to make a purchase from us is your own or your company’s card, that you are authorised to use it, and that there are sufficient funds or credit facilities to cover the cost of any goods or services you order from us. We reserve the right to obtain validation of your credit or debit card details before providing you with any goods or services.


Payment, Pricing & Promotions


All prices on this website are subject to change without notice. Whilst we make every effort to provide you the most accurate, up-to-date information, occasionally, one or more items on our website may be mis-priced. In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price due to typographical, photographic, or technical error or error in pricing information received from our suppliers, Maia Gifts shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price.


If an item's correct price is lower than our stated price, we will charge the lower amount and ship you the item.


If an item's correct price is higher than our stated price, we will cancel your order and notify you of the price error and order cancellation. You will, of course, have an opportunity to purchase the item at the correct price, if you so wish.

To update your personal account information, simply log in using the My Account link at the top right of the screen and click edit under the information you would like to change.
