Yay! We Are Scotland's Best Independent Gift Shop of the Year

We are thrilled to be awarded Scotland's Best Independent Gift Shop of the Year at the finals of The Greats Awards in London. The glamorous industry showpiece was held at the Lancaster Hotel with all the regional finalists and gift of the year finalists present.  

The night was filled with celebration and laughter and host and comedian kept everyone entertained throughout. 

To hear our name called as the winners was such a special moment and the whole team got to celebrate the win together!

 

Our shop wouldn't be what it is without our lovely & loyal customers. We appreciate all of you so much! Everyone that has been supporting us for years, all of you that find us while strolling through the city & the people from far away that decide to bring home something special from Maia! A heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you!

What makes winning Scotland's Best Independent Gift Shop of the Year extra special is that this year is also Maia's 15th birthday! Can you believe it? From opening the doors on Buchanan Street, including an ice cream shop & café, to relocating to Bath Street, Maia has evolved so much over the years.

We are sure Maia will keep evolving but one thing will stay the same: our love for our shop and the people that make it what it is, our customers and our dedicated team!
