UK Order Delivery
At Maia our aim is to dispatch your order within 24 hours of your order being placed. Please note, however, that any time or date stated for delivery is an estimate only. Maia makes every effort to dispatch goods on time, but does not accept liability for failure to deliver within the stated times.
We offer several delivery options to suit your needs:
- Pick Up In-store - FREE (Available Mon-Sun 11am to 5pm)
- UK Delivery Orders over £50 - FREE
- Royal Mail Tracked 48 (2-4 days) - from £1.95 - £3.25
- Royal Mail Tracked 24 (1-2 days) - £5.75
- Next Day Special Delivery - £9.95 (incl.weekend delivery)
Option 1: Pick Up In-Store - Free of Charge - the goods can be ordered and paid for online and collected at our Glasgow store at no additional cost.
Option 2: Free UK Shipping - Orders sub-totalling £50.00 or more will be delivered to you free of charge to any address located in the UK, and normally within 3-5 working days. If you wish to receive your order sooner then please select either Next Day or Express Delivery options.
Option 3: Standard Delivery TRACKED 48 £1.95- £3.25 -To any address located in the UK. Normally delivered within 2-4 working days.
Option 4: Express Delivery TRACKED 24 flat rate of £5.75- Anywhere in the UK. Orders placed before 12:30 pm will usually be delivered next day. Some remote rural areas may take one day longer.

Shipping costs indicated above are for all UK deliveries. Shipping times may vary depending on shipping destination. If the goods purchased are not able to be dispatched within the timescale indicated then we will notify you. Delivery times quoted are estimates based on availability and normal delivery time in working days.
If Maia is unable to deliver the goods within 30 days of the date of order, the Customer will be entitled to cancel the order and require any monies paid to Maia in respect of that order to be refunded. In order to cancel, the Customer must send written notice of cancellation to Maia after the above date, but before delivery of the goods or notification from Maia that the goods are ready for delivery. Maia does not accept liability for shortages or damage to deliveries unless the Customer notifies Maia of the shortage or damage in writing within 7 days of receipt of the delivery.
The customer has to accept the goods when they are ready for delivery.
Delivery is deemed to take place when the goods are delivered to the Customer’s nominated address, whereupon the risk of loss, breakage and all damage and all other risks shall pass to the Customer.
Title of the goods does not pass to the Customer until payment is received in full by Maia.
If the customer cannot accept delivery, Maia may at its option: (1) store and insure the goods at the Customer’s expense and risk or (2) sell the goods at the best price reasonably obtainable and (after deducting reasonable storage insurance and selling costs) pay to the Customer any excess over the sale price or charge the Customer for any shortfall or (3) re-arrange delivery provided that Maia may charge the Customer for the additional delivery costs incurred.
We will happily ship your goods to most destinations world wide. The flat rates listed below are considered sufficient to cover the cost of most international deliveries (up to 2kg) however we reserve the right to charge an additional delivery charge for heavier items or where the shipping address is considered to be remote by the nominated courier service.
For EU and International orders - delivery time in usually between 5-10 working days but is dependent on the nominated courier's normal delivery service times from the UK to the given Shipping Address.
International Shipping Rates
EU Flat Rate (Up to 2kg): For addresses within the European Union the normal charge for delivery starts from £3.95.
Rest of World Flat Rate (Up to 2kg): normal charge for delivery starts from £9.95 (outside the EU)
Note: Please note that in some cases you may be liable for taxes when the goods arrive at customs within your country, please contact your customs department for more information.
Where, in spite of its reasonable efforts, Maia is unable to perform an obligation due to force majeure, it shall not be deemed to be in breach of its contract with the Customer.
