The age old debate of which is the greatest city can now be settled with a game of chess. This iconic chess set is the perfect celebration (and friendly competition) of the cities of Glasgow and Edinburgh. Glasgow is on one side of the board, facing off against Edinburgh on the other!

Iconic Landmarks of Glasgow pieces are: King - University of Glasgow Tower, Queen - Tolbooth Steeple, Rook - Finnieston Crane, Bishop - Riverside Museum, Knight - Duke of, Wellington Statue & Pawn - SEC Armadillo.

The City of Edinburgh pieces are: King - Balmoral Clock Tower, Queen - Sir Walter Scott Monument, Rook - Edinburgh Castle, Bishop - Dugald Stewart Monument, Knight - Greyfriars Bobby Statue & Pawn - Murrayfield Stadium.

This unique chess set is designed by two Scottish product design engineers. Each piece is individually designed using 3D CAD software and is manufactured from plant-based material. The set comes with a booklet detailing the history of each landmark and what makes it iconic.
